7 months ago1st time visiting. Ordered their take out bento box. Normally, it comes with miso soup, but I'm not a fan of miso, so I made a request not to include it. Wonderful, friendly staff.

7 months agoMy girlfriend and I love coming here to get the Nova sushi combo or the Tokyo combo for only 33. The food is delicious, the price is great, and the serving size is perfect to share between 2 people. The restaurant is also pleasant to dine in, though it might get warm on a hot day. Update: 2 years later and it's still the same. Now with fire!

7 months agoSo glad to find a big table enough for 12 people on Sunday lunch time, without any reservation. The food tasted great and well presented, but very budget friendly! We will be back!

7 months agoWas in Kits, craving sushi, found Sushi Nova via Google Maps Reviews and WOW it IS as good as people raved! First visit, already planning to go back. The waitress was super friendly & welcoming, offered me (single person) a table near the window so already I had a good feeling... Menu has half a dozen lunch specials running (I think) 17-23. I chose the Hana Nova (sp?) I saw a nearby couple enjoying. Outstanding. Every element prepared & presented perfectly, and absolutely delicious. I travel a lot - I'm pretty happy when a restaurant delivers to expectation. Sushi Nova def exceeded expectations. BIG lunch but I couldn't stop myself from having every last bite. Couple things I didn't recognize, the waitress both explained what they were and how to have them. BTW, this place is bigger than it seems from the outside: goes back deep into the building.

7 months agoTonight was our first trip to Sushi Nova. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. Everything was really great! Unique and appetizing dishes. They were fast, really courteous and friendly and the food was fantastic! We'll be going back for sure.

7 months agoQuick & Friendly service which was open before 5PM. I've noticed a number of sushi joints will close between 3pm to 5pm so it was good to see this sushi restaurant was open. Everything was excellent Spicy Miso Salmon Sashimi Chopped Scallops Roll Double Spicy Roll Lady Mango Roll Yummy Yummy Roll (recommended by the server as we asked her suggestion for one additional roll); and yes... It was yummy yummy so good! Thank you for that one! The Lady Mango Roll was very favourable also. I was wondering how the beets would be in a roll however it's simply shavings as a garnish. All of them were well rolled with fresh ingredients. Between the two of us, we felt full by the end of sharing all of the above. Clean environment, fresh ingredients, perfectly rolled, well presented, friendly staff and quick service... What more would you ask for!?

7 months agoI took my family to Sushi Nova during our visit to Vancouver, and it was a decision I definitely don't regret. The food quality was exceptional, with every dish bursting with flavor. The service team was equally impressive — attentive, friendly, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable.
